Like diving into a murky lake from the rocky cliffs looming above, plunging into Empire: Total War is an intimidating prospect but an exhilarating experience. WebDefinitely not rome 2 for pure naval battles, because it just ends up being ship ramming and meele fighting. But rome adds land/naval battles mixed which makes it interesting. I'd say fots had the best, the mix of the steam ships and non steam ships against each other. Plus, ships weren't as slow as empire, yet not as epic as empire.
